Hope for Life Mission

Hope for Life provides mental health, recovery, and suicide prevention education.

By decreasing stigma associated with mental health disorders, people are

more likely to seek treatment, help others, and be advocates.

We accomplish our mission by forming partnerships with national and local organizations that offer established mental health programs.

Hope for Life coordinates with these groups and brings their educational programs to local communities. Hope for Life’s programs include: workshops, classes, and presentations by authors and speakers. These programs are open to families, parents, students, caregivers, and individuals in recovery.

What our workshop participants are saying

NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) has made a big difference in my life and my family. Before NAMI I felt alone, disconnected and confused. I understand my mentally ill son much better which has helped me to deal with him more effectively. For the first time in many years through NAMI I have a group of people that really understand what it's like to have a mentally ill family member.

The mutual support is wonderful.
